Here’s a combination that never fails and almost everyone loves, banana and chocolate.
I don’t know what these two have, but when together they form one of the best flavors and experiences of life.
I decided to put the two together in a Magnum style ice cream and it resulted in something divine. (I don’t even know how MAGNUM hasn’t remembered this yet)
Modesty aside, but this is by far one of the most delicious ice creams I’ve had recentely, and the best part, it’s super simple to make at home and only requires 4 ingredients. That’s right, 4 simple ingredients!
Let’s not waste any more time with introductions, okay?
CREAMY | CRUNCHY | SWEET | SIMPLE | REFESHING | GLUTEN FREE
Quite simple. As simple as putting everything in a food processor, crushing it and putting it in ice cream molds.
Then just pour the wonderful melted dark chocolate over the ice cream and enjoy the perfect contrast between the crunchy and the creamy, the sweet flavor of the banana and the bitterness of the chocolate.
In this recipe I used Dragon SuperFoods Dark Choco Drops which are absolutely delicious and I won’t trade it for anything. Just like the white chocolate and the regular chocolate ones, these drops melt wonderfully and are super versatile. These are the dropsI always cook with because they fulfill all my flavor and behavior requirements.
In addition to the ingredients, you will need magnum-style ice cream molds, but if you don’t have it use any other ones cause it won´t change the flavour.
Let’s make your summer tastier?
350gr of frozen banana
3 tbsp (60gr) of amond butter
280gr of coconut whip cream
180gr of Dragon SuperFoods Dark Choco Drops
1 tbsp of coconut oil
350gr of frozen banana
3 tbsp (60gr) of amond butter
280gr of coconut whip cream
180gr of Dragon SuperFoods Dark Choco Drops
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1- Place the banana, the almond butter and the coconut cream in a food processor and grind until you get a smooth and creamy result.
2- Divide the cream you just made into 8 ice cream molds and smooth the surface with a spoon.
3- Insert the ice cream stick and take it to the freezer for about 8 hours so that it solidifies well.
4- After 8 hours, melt the chocolate together with coconut oil in a bain marie.
5- Remove the ice creams from the freezer and with the help of a spoon, cover them completely with the melted chocolate. This process should be done one by one, and as you cover the ice cream, stick them in a styrofoam base or something you can get the ice cream standing up.
6- You can eat immediately or take it to the freezer to solidify even more and create a more crunchy topping.
7- To keep them in the freezer, make sure you cover them with aluminum foil or in a tightly closed tupperware to prevent to form ice on the surface.
